My, How We've Grown
The number of homeschooling families in Maryland continues to rise. Over
20,000 children were registered with their local county school boards as homeschool students in 2002-03.
While most counties experienced significant growth, Anne Arundel
county, interestingly enough, dropped their homeschool enrollment to 1,675 children. Prince George's county, Baltimore
county and Montgomery county led the state with over 7,800 combined homeschool students.
