General Classes for Homeschoolers

• Materials Research Science and Engineering
  6-8 week engineering classes for homeschoolers in grades 7 - 12 at the University of Maryland College Park campus.

• Java Passport Program
  A 5 week intense Java Programming class offered on Saturdays in College Park. Students who complete all three 5-week sessions will be prepared to take the AP Computer Science exam to qualify for college credit. This is a free class for high school students but you must apply and be accepted.

Art and Music Classes

• The Painting Workshop
  Drawing, painting, multimedia and drama classes for homeschoolers. Classes located in Reisterstown and Mt. Washington.

• The Community Art Center of Towson University
  Eight week classes offered every semester for homeschoolers, ages 7-10. Art skills and concepts focus on 2 & # dimensional processes, including drawing and painting, clay, printmaking and sculpture.

• DC Youth Orchestra Program
  Music education and enrichment for students, ages 5 to 19, of all musical abilities. Top orchestra members play concerts at the Kennedy Center.

• Galaxy Explorers
  The Federation of Galaxy Explorers meets ever First Saturday of the month at the Goddard flight center (located about 30 minutes south of Baltimore off of Route 295). Activities include classes and field trips.
