| Description: | The Calvert Marine Museum hosts three galleries which highlight the museum themes of
Maritime History, Estuarine Biology, and Paleotology of Solomons and the its local waterways. The museum hosts numerous family and educational

The museum exhibits two lighthouses, the Cove Point and Drum Point Lights, the National Historic Landmark bugeye Wm. B. Tennison, and the J. C.
Lore and Sons Oyster House.
The children's Discovery Room, currently under renovation and re-opening in April 2006, allows young learners the opportunity to learn about the
museum in a hands on environment.
