Education Department:

Visit the Maryland Science Center's Educator's Resource page and download the latest field trip guide for details on more than 20 different enrichment programs you can add-on to your homeschool group tour. In addition, the field trip guide will give you an overview of the year's teacher professional development workshops; the IMAX and Planetarium show schedule; and times when the observatory is open for night-time and solar viewing.


Homeschool Programs:

Each year the Maryland Science Center offers home school programming in the month of September. Programs are offered on weekdays excluding Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Enrichment Experiences, IMAX films, Planetarium programs, Learning Lab programming and more are taking place during these exciting home school weeks.

Wednesday afternoons are for Homeschoolers after school at the Maryland Science Center when you participate in Wednesday Workshops. From October through April a different workshop is available every Wednesday and we’re making it easy for you to attend.
